Everyone has become a follower of the 2022 World Cup competitions,
closely awaiting the match that will bring together the Ghana national team
against Uruguay, in the decisive round of the World Cup in Qatar.
The Ghanaian national team is scheduled to meet Uruguay in a
revenge match in the third and final round of the group stage of the current
World Cup.

round match against its counterpart, Portugal, by three goals to one.
The Ghanaian team returned and won the South Korean national
team, with three goals to two, in the second round.

yet, the Albasiliste tied with South Korea in the first round, goalless.
Luis Suarez's teammates lost, in the second round, to
Portugal, with two clean goals.
Why is Ghana's
meeting against Uruguay my revenge?
The Ghana national team was eliminated from the 2010 World
Cup in South Africa in the quarter-finals, at the hands of Uruguay in a
dramatic way.
Where Luis Suarez prevented Gyan Asamoah from scoring the
winning goal in a match that was tied with a goal for each of them, after he
intervened and removed the Ghanaian star's ball with his hand.
After the referee awarded a penalty kick, Gyan missed it,
and Uruguay won the penalty shootout at the time, and qualified for the
semi-finals at the expense of Ghana.
And Andre Iowa, the current captain of Ghana, said of that
confrontation:
“I am the only survivor of the 2010 Uruguay battle. We will
take revenge on Uruguay in the last round, and we want to deny it
qualification, whether it wins against Portugal or not.”
Chances of qualifying

The Ghanaian national team needs to achieve victory in the
last round against Uruguay, or at least a draw, in order to qualify for the
round of 16 of the World Cup.
While Uruguay needs to defeat Ghana to qualify, there is no
alternative to that.
When will the 2022
World Cup end?
Football fans are looking for the end date of the 2022 World
Cup, which is currently being held in Qatar.
The match to determine the third and fourth places in the
2022 World Cup will be held at Khalifa International Stadium.
On December 17, 2022, at five in the evening Cairo time and
six in the evening Mecca Al-Mukarramah time.
While the date for the final match of the 2022 World Cup has
been set, which is on December 18, 2022 at Lusail International Stadium, which
coincides with the National Day of the State of Qatar.
The final match will be at 5:00 pm Cairo local time, and
6:00 pm Mecca and Doha local time
