Eden Hazard is a Belgian professional footballer who currently plays for the English club Chelsea and also plays for the Belgium national team. Hazard began training regularly soon after becoming a professional player and his first competitive match at the age of 10 was against an all-female team which ended in a 5-0 loss. Eden Hazard was born on January 7, 1991 in the Belgian city of Louvier, and was raised in the Belgian town of Bran-le-Comte. His father, Terry, was a midfielder who played for Louviers in Ligue 2. While his mother, Karen, was an offensive player in the Belgian First Women's League.

 

His mother stopped playing in Aiden's third month of pregnancy, but then gave birth to three more boys, Torgan, Kailan and Ethan, all of whom became footballers.

 

Eden Hazard joined his hometown club Brenois as a footballer when he was just four years old. His coaches quickly noticed him as a talented player, and he continued to play for the club for eight years.

 

Talent scouts spotted him at the Lille club after he moved to the Belgian town of Tubize at the age of thirteen, a first-class French club. There are better exercises out there.

In 2012, Eden Hazard married his girlfriend Natasha van Honaker in a private party, where the two attended the same school and met for the first time when they were 14 years old.

 

After Natasha finished her studies, they started living in the French city of Lille, and the couple gave birth to their first son, who they called Yannis, on December 19, 2010. They had their second son, Leon, in February 2013, and another son, Sami, in September 2015.

The high club became the second most expensive player in the club's history after Gareth Bale, and in a press statement Hazard expressed his dream of joining the royal club, as he said that coach Zinedine Zidane is his idol in the world of football.


Hazard carried the No. 7 shirt and scored his first goals with the club against Granada, but unfortunately on November 26 he suffered an ankle injury while facing Paris Saint-Germain after the violent intervention of his countryman, and he was sidelined for 16 games, and after his return he received a warm welcome by the club's fans, but he suffered a fracture in the right fibula of his ankle and was absent from the field for quite some time, to miss the club's most important confrontations in the season, and he ended the season by participating in 16 matches and scoring a single goal.


In the 2020-2021 season, Hazard suffered from injuries and was not present in all matches, as he played only 14 matches in the league, in which he scored only 4 goals.


At the international level, he participated with his country in the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Euro Championship, where he carried the armband of the national team captain, and in the 2018 World Cup, Hazard scored the second fastest goal for Belgium in the history of the tournament from a penalty kick in the sixth minute against Tunisia and won the man of the match award, and Belgium faced The Japan national team defeated it, and Hazard won the Man of the Match award for the second time in a row. The tournament ended with Belgium finishing in third place. Hazard won the Silver Ball as the second best player in the tournament, in addition to being chosen as the man of the match three times.


In Euro 2020, Hazard played the 100th match with his country, and was selected in the European Championship squad.
