After Qatar succeeded in winning the honor of organizing the
2022 World Cup, it began planning aggressively to organize a version that is
the best in the history of the World Cup, to respond strongly to all those who
doubted its ability to host the most prominent event in football.
The Qatari Projects and Legacy Committee, which is concerned
with organizational matters for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, made a new and
distinctive proposal, which is the presence of floating hotels to host the fans
who will come to Doha to enjoy the tournament.
The idea of floating
hotels in the World Cup Qatar
The committee sent invitations to all international
companies that could build these hotels to implement them before the start of
the tournament.
It didn't take long for the Organizing Committee to reach
out to the Finnish company Admares that could undertake these huge projects.
The initial agreement in the offered tender was to build
sixteen 16 floating hotels in the sea, all of which are made of solid
materials. The CEO of this company expressed his happiness that his company
obtained the special tender announced by the Organizing Committee in this
field.
And 16 floating hotels were built by Admares, with unique
and wonderful creative designs. The total height of each building is about 72
meters, and the width is about 16 meters.
Each of these floating hotels built by Qatar contains 101
dorm rooms that can be booked by the 2022 World Cup fans, and there are many
restaurants and cafes in each hotel.
Each of the 16 floating hotels, consisting of 4 four floors,
will provide a total of 1,616 rooms for fans of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The organizing committee was not satisfied with the
traditional floating hotels, but rather worked to bring true luxury to all the
financially able fans, as it rented two huge cruise ships from the “MCS
Cruises” company, with all the luxury, modernity and pleasure.

The Qatar World Cup 2022 is scheduled to start on November
20, with the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador.
While the final match will be held on December 18 at Lusail
International Stadium.
The two ships MSC Poesia and MSC World Europe will be
permanently docked at the Grand Station in Doha, as floating hotels in an
impressive service to football fans.
